Hello there!

Lee Kanji is a Philippine-based freelance illustrator working since 2019. They started their journey as a self-taught fanartist around 2010 and went on hiatus for a while. After finishing their Bachelor's Degree unrelated to art, Kanji re-discovered their love for art and decided to pursue their passion: designing original characters and drawing comics.

Kanji's early works were influenced by Japanese pop culture, Korean pop culture, Disney, and Marvel comics. In recent years, this helped their works to be more flexible and adaptable to different styles.

Today, Kanji is working on various personal projects and pursuing their Master's Degree. They are hoping to work on both their passion for drawing and passion for academic research.

In her spare time, Kanji enjoys and consumes a lot of pop culture. They love procrastinating and watching videos while living up to John Lennon's quote, "The time you enjoy wasting, is not wasted time."
